Breakdown plan provider Domestic & General (D & G) has introduced a stand-alone annual service for gas boilers. The service, which applies to most major boiler makes, costs £85 and is a standard charge across the UK. It is available Monday to Friday between 1 May and 30 September of each year.
Existing customers already have the option of including an annual service within their protection plan. This new addition will appeal to people who don't want to cover their boiler against the cost of repairs but still like to get an annual gas boiler service from a tried and tested network of approved repairers.
Domestic & General's Managing Director, Ken Wilson comments ' Most people recognise the advantage of getting their boiler serviced annually. This allows people, who don't want full boiler repair protection, the peace of mind of using our network of experienced and fully approved repairers.'
Payment can be made by cheque or credit card. Customers who pay by direct debit can also spread payment over four consecutive months. Call 08705 49 00 00 for further information.
