Pet Protect retains its five star rating

Independent research company Defaqto has awarded specialist pet insurer Pet Protect 5 star status for the second year running for its Lifelong Extra product. Of the 221 policies that are available in the market only a relatively small number achieve 5 star status. Pet Protect's Lifelong Extra offers high quality, good value healthcare insurance for the duration of an animal's life, with no time limit on claim viability.
Star ratings are based on the quality of the product and enable the consumer to identify products with the best features and benefits in their buying decision. The ratings are produced in Defaqto's Pet Insurance in the UK Report, published this month.
Pet Protect policies are amongst the most comprehensive available, helping to protect against the cost of vet fees, third party liability claims, loss by theft or straying, recovery costs, kennel/cattery fees and holiday cancellation, amongst others.
