Domestic & General, the leading provider of warranty services, has been chosen by Home Retail Group to provide all of its extended warranty and product protection plans.
Home Retail Group is the UK's leading home and general merchandise retailer, with sales of over £6bn in the last financial year. It sells products under two distinctive and complementary brands - Argos and Homebase - of which there are more than 1000 stores across the country. Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Domestic & General will provide all of Home Retail Group's product insurance plans, including breakdown care, replacement product care, jewellery and watches care, furniture care and mobile phone care. The plans will be sold through Home Retail Group's three main channels: in-store, direct (telephone) and via the internet.
